DPSS618 - Personal Assistant - 8 hours per week - Glynncorrwg (Port Talbot)
I am a 37 year old man living in Glyncorrwg. I have challenging behaviour, and I can wander off so the PA will need to keep eyes on me. I have epilepsy. I have limited speech but I can understand what you say to me. I know a small amount of sign language. I have been described as being comical and funny. I enjoy going to the Driving Range, going Ten Pin Bowling, and going to cafes and pubs for meals.

DPSS621 - Personal Assistant - 8 hours per week - Port Talbot (Port Talbot)
I am a 33 year old lady living in central Port Talbot. I have hearing loss, but I can hear OK when I’m wearing my hearing aids. I am also partially sighted, as I have no peripheral vision, suffer with blind spots and my eyes take a long time to adjust in going between light and dark environments. This can cause me to become anxious in new places. I use a white cane when I’m out, but I can manage in a familiar environment.
8 hours a week to be used as:
1 ½ hours on a Monday & on a Thursday from 12:00 onward
5 hours on a Saturday from 10:00 onward

DPSS596 - 2 x Personal Assistants - 4 hours per PA, per week - Coed Hirwaun (Port Talbot)
I am an 11 year old boy living in the Coed Hirwaun area of Port Talbot. I am a very affectionate little boy, with a very happy, cheeky and mischievous personality. I am curious and very aware of what goes on around me. I am very sociable and love being around others. I am non-verbal, but I can let you know what I want. I have Autism and learning difficulties. I wear pull-up nappies. I have no safety awareness and I can run off – I need someone to keep eyes on me at all times.
4 hours per PA (8 hours double staffed) to be worked on the weekend.
Days and times are flexible - to be discussed during interview.

DPSS602 - Personal Assistant - 5 hours per week - Cimla (Neath)
A lady in her 30’s requires a PA to help enable her to access the local community. The lady also requires support at home with toileting, washing and dressing. She has a rare condition which means she is incredibly fragile and requires a PA to be very gentle with her. She loves watching films both at home and at the cinema, listening to music, chatting and socialising. She also really enjoys a game of bingo at coffee morning!
5 hours on a Saturday. Times are flexible from 10:00am onwards. There will be the potential of increasing to 10 hours per week.

DPSS612 - Personal Assistant - 5 hours per week - Sandfields (Port Talbot)
I am a 9 year old boy living in the Sandfields area. I like to hold hands and I am very chatty. I have Autism, a learning disability, challenging behaviour and Hypermobility which causes me joint pain. I have Asthma but this is well controlled. I am able to go to the toilet by myself, but the PA will need to be very responsive when I say I need to go, as I may not give much warning.
5 hours to be used across two days on a Monday and Tuesday evening from 5:30pm onwards.

DPSS609 - Personal Assistant - 4 hours per week - Skewen (Neath)
I am very lively, bubbly, fun and energetic 6 year old boy living in Skewen. I have Autism and Epilepsy. I can experience Challenging Behaviour which includes running off, as I have no sense of danger. The PA will need to undergo Physical Restraint training, which will be provided.
4 hours during term time to be worked on a Sat/ Sun after 10am
8 hours during school holidays – days and times flexible

DPSS610 - COVER Personal Assistant - 12 hours per week - Waunceirch (Neath)
I am a 22 year old man living in Waunceirch. I have Autism and a moderate learning difficulty. I like to be independent and I am very chatty. I like going for walks and I am very interested in animals. I enjoy being on public transport. I enjoy video games and watching Marvel, Anime and YouTube. Routine is important to me.
12 hours a week to be worked as 6 hours on a Thursday and 6 hours on a Friday.
PA can start between 09:00 and 10:00.
During school holidays the days and times are flexible.

DPSS626 - Personal Assistant - 7 hours per week - Pontardawe (Pontardawe)
I am an amazing 9-year-old boy who has Cerebral palsy and other complex health needs, including physical, cognitive and communication. I need lots of support with personal care, but I don’t let this hold me back or define who I am. I attend a local school and after school I need additional support to help me to enjoy social and leisure activities and to help with my therapy programmes.
7 hours per week 2 sessions after school, flexibility essential.

DPSS632 - Personal Assistant - 6 hours per week - Sandfields (Port Talbot)
I am a 15 year old girl living with my family in the Sandfields area of Port Talbot. I have Sanfilippo Syndrome which is a rare condition that has affected my cognitive development. The condition is degenerative so my needs will increase in future. I am non-verbal. I am not very active anymore and require support with hoisting and transferring. I am double incontinent. I love being out and about, I also like people watching. I love Disney, especially Shrek and Tangled! I am also waiting for surgery for peg feeding.
6 hours a week
My PA will be part of a team of 2 PA's who will work together to support me.
Hours to be worked Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday evenings 3:30pm – 5:30pm.
Hours may vary from time to time.

DPSS624 - Personal Assistant - 7 hours per week - Cymmer (Port Talbot)
I am a man in my mid 20’s living in the Cymmer area of Port Talbot with my family. I enjoy boxing with my special needs group. I also enjoy indoor bowls, music, dancing and eating out for meals. I love watching international rugby matches as well as the Ospreys. I enjoy listening to Christian music. I like swimming after church on Sundays.
up to 7 hours per week
Tuesday - 4:40pm to 6.20pm
Thursday - 4.40pm to 6.10pm
