I am a lady in my 70s living in the Goytre area looking to employ a team of support workers to support me in my own home.
Hours of work: 12 hours per week minimum
Hours / shifts to be discussed in interview. Shifts to cover day shifts and night shifts. Weekdays and weekends.
Support workers need to be flexible to cover team’s annual leave and sickness
Rota: 3-week rolling rota
I am a gentleman in my 60s living in the Margam area with my family and pet dogs. I enjoy watching thrillers, war shows and factual films. I also have a keen interest in fishing, model aeroplanes, mechanics and engineering.
5 hours per week to be worked flexibly between Mon-Fri. Hours will mainly be in the afternoons either one shift or two shifts per week. Hours to be discussed in more detail at interview.
I am a gentleman in my 60s living in the Baglan area of Port Talbot. My family describe me as a having a good sense of humour and being easy to get on with. I enjoy sports and follow the Six Nations rugby and support St Albans football team. I also have a keen interest in history and enjoy watching the odd episode of Dads Army.
Casual position to cover annual leave and sickness. 10 hours per week to be worked usually on a Wednesday and Thursday.
I am a gentleman in my 60s living in the Rhos area of Pontardawe with my family. I enjoy looking through books, listening to music and making sounds on my small guitar. My mobility is limited so I will require some support in moving around my home. I also have limited communication and it may take some time to get to know how I communicate.
Hours of Work:Total hours: 8.45 per week
Two calls per day – 45minutes AM call at approx. 9am x 7 days a week and 30minute evening call at approx. 9.30pm x 7 days a week. Looking to recruit three PAs to share these hours. Start times may also vary on occasion.
I am a 51 year old male living in the Port Talbot area. I like watching films, going out walking, and going shopping. I also like using computers and playing computer games. I enjoy listening to Rock music and enjoy talking about Politics. I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me in the community with the activities that I would like to. I am registered as visually impaired.
3 hours per week
Hours to be used over 2 sessions per week. Hours can be flexible and will be arranged in advance by mutual consent.
I am a 7 year old boy living in the Sandfields area of Port Talbot. I love being active and enjoy going to the park, to Limitless and going on trampolines. I love going for walks around Margam Park and The Gnoll. I also enjoy going swimming. I like to run off so need a Personal Assistant who can keep up with me and keep me safe. I can also be nervous in loud environments.
Hours of Work: 6 hours per week double staffed (3 hours per PA) – Hours to be used on Saturday’s – times to be discussed.
I am 17 year old male living in the Seven Sisters area of Neath with my family. My hobbies and interest including NFL and gaming – my favourite games are Madden NFL 21 and F1. I also have a keen interest in steam engines and have a few of my own model railways.
6 hours per week to be worked over one or two afternoon/evenings per week. Flexibility may be required on occasion.
I am a young lady in my 20s living in the Briton Ferry area with my family. I am autistic which effects my speech. I like my morning and evening routines and can get a little upset if things get missed out. I am quite active and like to get out of the house. I also enjoy watching telly, playing on my iPad and doing jigsaws. I’m looking for a PA to help me with my morning and evening routines when my mum has to work shifts and also to support me when the day services are closed. I’m easy going and enjoy spending time with my PA, it helps my mum to know I’m happy and safe while she is at work.
16 hours per week with additional hours through lockdown.
Hours are normally worked 2 days a week.
Mornings – 6:30am to 9am
Evenings – 3pm to 8pm.
*Please note: during lockdown PA’s will work 2 full days per week.*
Shifts may include weekends. Additional hours will be available. Flexibility may be required and full details of working arrangements will be discussed at interview. Hours are arranged about a month in advance.
Rate of Pay: £8.91 per hour.
I am a 10 year old girl in the Port Talbot area who communicates via PECS and my electronic device. I enjoy sensory input and enjoy playing on my trampoline and swing. I am mobile but do use a wheelchair when out and about. I love being outdoors, swimming and people watching. I’m looking for a PA to start working with me to socialise and start developing my independence outside of the home. If I feel frustrated or upset I can be a little challenging but this is quite rare. I also don’t have much of a sense of danger so I’ll need you to keep an eye on me. I like cheeky and fun people that don’t mind being a bit mischievous but I also need people who can be firm with me when needed.
2 hours per week.
Preferably Thursday evenings however hours can be worked flexibly.
Additional cover hours will be offered from time to time. These will include occasional weekends.
Rate of Pay: £8.91 per hour.
I am a gentleman in my 70s living in the Cimla Area with my wife. I have Parkinson’s which effects my mobility. I used to be very interested in computers and a keen gamer however as my condition has progressed I find it harder to do the things I enjoyed. I need quite a lot of help with daily tasks and have very limited communication. I’m looking for a PA to join the team in order to support me and my wife in the mornings and provide some cover when I need it.
Hours of Work: 22 hours in total per week
10.5 hours regular with the remainder to be worked on a casual basis.
1 hour every morning roughly 9am to 10.30am with a little bit of flexibility.
The remaining hours will be offered on a casual basis to cover sickness and holiday.
Rate of Pay: £8.91 per hour.
