Swyddi Gwag Cynorthwydd Personol

I am a 61 year old male living in the central Port Talbot area.  I enjoy watching quizzes on TV and have previously applied to be on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire”.  I enjoy getting out and about in the community and I enjoy a good chat.  I love watching lots of different types of sport such as rugby, boxing and football and I am a massive Liverpool fan.  I am looking for a Personal Assistant to help me at home and ensure my safety, as I tend to lose my balance and can fall over.

5 hours per week – 2.5 hours on a Wed and Fri.

Flexibility can be discussed during interview. 

I am a gentleman in my fifties living in the Crymlyn Burrows area of Swansea with my 2 friendly little dogs. I have Agoraphobia, Monophobia and Epilepsy. I also have a spinal injury and some hip problems that can affect my mobility. I normally get around on my crutches but at the moment can get tired if I go too far. Getting out can be a bit of a chore to me so I like to do activities that help me to relax such as going to the spa/leisure centre. I will become more mobile physically over time so someone you likes things like walking, bike rides a little gym would be beneficial. I like animals. I also enjoy going to the cinema regularly and theatre just now and then. I’m a practicing Christian and would like to be able to attend church more often. I also would like to be able to visit my mother independently every other week. 

DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL - PA TO DRIVE MY MOBILITY CAR

10 hours per week to be worked as:

2.5 hours each day mostly starting at 10:15 am until 12:45pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

On the odd occasions the hours or days need to be worked flexibly depending on appointments etc but I will give plenty of advance notice for these.

I am a happy-go-lucky and bubbly lady in my early 40’s. I have a good sense of humour and enjoy a laugh. I live with my partner and children in the Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen area of Ammanford. I enjoy reading and find this relaxing. I suffer with chronic pain in my back. I am looking for a PA to support me with light domestic duties, shopping and meal preparation, and attending medical appointments.

CAR DRIVER ESSENTIAL

hours per week to be used as 2 hours on Monday AM and 2 hours on Thursday AM – times are flexible.

I am a 6 year old boy living in Glyncorrwg. I enjoy being on my tablet, going for walks and going to indoor play areas. I am very interested in Dinosaurs and like Disney’s Cars. I love playing in water.

4 hours during term time to be worked on a Saturday or Sunday after 10am.

8 hours during school holidays – days and times flexible.

I am an easy going and laid back man in my 50’s with a 15yr old son living in the Baglan area of Port Talbot. I have mobility difficulties and am not able to use my legs or raise my arms. I play wheelchair rugby for the Ospreys and also coach the team. I enjoy shopping, gardening, exercising and have my own swimming pool at home. My independence is very important to me.

Driving NOT essential.

Hours are as follows:

08:00am to 11.30am

4.00pm to 5.30pm

10:00pm to 10:45pm.

This could be during the week or on the weekend.

I’m an elderly lady living in the Clyne area of Neath. I have an interest in Politics and History, and enjoy watching game shows on TV. I enjoy spending time within the community and shopping. I have limited mobility, therefore I would need to be pushed in my wheelchair. I’m looking for a PA to help me get out and about, keep me company and help me to do the things I like to do, also helping me to attend appointments at times. I may request you to advocate during these appointments. I will require a PA who can drive and will be able to pick me up from my home address and transport me to desired destination.

CAR DRIVER ESSENTIAL

3 hours per week 
Thursdays with some flexibility between the hours of 12pm to 4pm.

I am a gentleman in my early 70s living within Port Talbot. I have vascular dementia and I have had a diagnoses for three years. I am a happy go lucky man and I have a great sense of humour. I enjoy a good chat, a good laugh and enjoy spending time within the community.

4 hours per week. 

I am a girl in my late teens living in the Cimla area of Neath looking to employ a personal assistant to support me to access the community. I enjoy shopping especially looking around clothes shops. I enjoy listening to music and watching football and I am a Swansea City fan. My family would describe me as having a wicked sense of humour so I am looking for someone who can make me laugh and bring me out of my shell.

3 hours per week. Preferably worked on a Wednesday day time.

I am a lady in my 60’s living in the Cwmgors area of Ammanford with my husband, who also recieves PA support. I am very happy in my home and very proud of it. I value my independence. I love to keep busy with knitting, sewing, arts and crafts, colouring and watching soaps or quiz shows. I have a learning disability and require support to allow me to remain happy and independent and able to access the community safely.

10 Hours per week, days and times to be agreed

I am an 8 year old boy living in the Glyncorrwg area of Port Talbot with my family. I have Autism and I am non-verbal. I enjoy playing in/with water, going for walks in the woodland where it’s quiet and visiting McDonalds or KFC. I am very cuddly. When out in the community I wear a helmet so that I do not hurt my head during a meltdown. I need constant supervision to keep me safe.

8 hours per week (weekends only.) - School holidays are also required. 

Saturday - 4 hours

Sunday - 4 hours 

Times are flexible and can be discussed and mutually agreed during interview.
