Description

I am in a gentleman in my 50s living in the Clyne area of Neath. I grew up in England but moved to Neath to be closer to my family. I really enjoy living in the area and I am keen to find out more about Wales. I have recently moved into my own place after living with family initially when I moved to the area and I am looking for a personal assistant to support me to develop good routines within my new home. I have a keen interest in politics and this is often a conversational piece for me. I enjoy watching sports such as football and rugby on the television.

Purpose

  • Supervising me whilst I am showering.
  • To support me to maintain a clean and safe bathroom to prevent me slipping after my shower.
  • Put the recycling bags out on a Wed and bring them back in on Friday.

Person Type

  • Male preferred due to the personal care nature of the role.
  • Car driver recommended due to the location.
  • Is flexible and accommodating.
  • Is punctual and reliable.
  • Is motivating and supporting.

Hours

CAR DRIVER RECOMMENDED DUE TO THE LOCATION

3 hours per week to be worked as 1 hour blocks.

1 hour Monday

1 hour Wednesday

1 hour Friday

This post may require a DBS check (the cost of which will be met by NPTCBC). If this post requires you to work with children then it is compulsory for you to have a DBS check prior to commencement.

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.

Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.

You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.

You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
