I am a 23 year old man living in the Pontardawe area of Swansea. 

I have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. I love walking the beach front in Aberavon, but enjoy walking anywhere really. I love being out of the house and being active. I like going for food, going to the cinema, going bowling and would love for my PA to support me going to the gym and even to the pub one evening.  

Tasks include:

• Supporting me to access the community.

• Supporting me to do meaningful activities such as walking, bowling, going to the driving range, etc. 

• Prompting me to try new things like golf etc. 

• Support me to attend the gym.

• Be firm with me. 

• Any other activities/sports that I would like to attend. 

I am looking for: 

• Someone who enjoys sports and activities 

• Someone who will join in with me

• Male preferred

• Someone who has a full driving license and their own vehicle

• Someone who is patient 

• Someone who has fun and enjoys banter

12 hours per week, preferably Monday's and Tuesday's. To be discussed during interview.

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.

Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.

You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.

You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
