Licensing Act Policy
Under the Licensing Act 2003, the Council as the Licensing Authority is required to adopt a Licensing Act Policy, setting out how it will deal with various applications for licences and permits. The Council is required to review this Policy at least every 5 years.
Licensing Act Policy 2026
The Licensing Act Policy 2026 was approved by Council on the 17th December 2025 and was published on the Council's website on the 6th January 2026. The Policy is effective from the 31st January 2026.
The Policy can be viewed or downloaded by using the link below. Copies will be available at Port Talbot Civic Centre for reference only.
