Call of the Wild
Call of the Wild helps schools and communities grow stronger. A £49,912 grant helped Call of the Wild Development Trust work with 11 schools in Neath Port Talbot.
Over 260 children took part and grew stronger in confidence, teamwork, and emotions. They climbed, hiked, scrambled through rivers, and pushed past fears.
They learned how to manage their feelings. They learned how to keep going. They learned how to believe in themselves.

This project was funded £49,912 by the Sustainable Community Grant Fund.

“Wow! What a great programme. Resilience is so important, and we need more of this in schools. Every pupil gained something — confidence, teamwork, or overcoming fears. Thank you for giving our pupils an experience some may never have again.”
Call of the Wild added:
“We are grateful for the chance to support our community and help build resilient, confident children.”
