High Definition CCTV System
The council have upgraded the CCTV in Briton Ferry West and Pontardawe.
These modern cameras link directly to the council’s 24/7 control room. This helps teams respond faster and coordinate with the police and fire service.
The aim is simple: make the area safer for everyone.
Grants and funding
This project was funded £80,168 by the Sustainable Community Grant Fund.

- upgraded CCTV cameras in Briton Ferry West
- a new CCTV system in Pontardawe

- live links to the council’s 24/7 monitoring centre
