Meet Griff
We’re proud to share Griff’s story. It shows how neurodiversity is a strength in any workplace.
Grants and funding
Work experience is part of the Employability project. £5.6 million has been set aside for this project.
The money will help schools give students work experience and support their wellbeing.
It will also fund:
- early career activities
- help people get ready for work
- provide paid jobs
- give support once they start working

The team praised his attitude, focus and the positive impact he made.
Griff’s parents said it is important to include everyone. They also said it is vital to recognise the strengths of people who think in different ways.
Making a difference
This project shows how work experience can help young people with different needs:
- feel confident

It is a good example for other employers and schools. It shows that being flexible and kind can create chances and success.
