West Glamorgan Safeguarding Board

The West Glamorgan Safeguarding Board (WGSB) are the key statutory mechanism for agreeing how organisations will co-operate to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults living in the region.

We are a multi-agency forum which brings together representatives of each of the main agencies and professionals who are responsible for helping to protect Children and Adults from abuse and neglect.

The WGSB is responsible for:

Agreeing on how the different services and professional groups should co-operate to safeguard Children and Adults
Making sure that arrangements work effectively in bringing about better outcomes for Children and Adults in West Glamorgan
