Audit of Accounts - Neath Port Talbot Council
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Sections 29 to 31 of the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2004 (and as further specified in the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2014) that from 12th June 2026 to 9th July 2026 between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m., Monday to Friday, any person interested may inspect and make copies of the Accounts of the above named Authority for the year ended 31st March 2026 and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating to hereto.
To make arrangements to inspect the accounts for the Authority for the year ended 31 March 2026 e-mail closingteam@npt.gov.uk
On or after 10th July 2026 at 9.00 a.m., the Appointed Auditor, the Audit General for Wales, Audit Wales, 24 Cathedral Road, Cardiff, CF11 9LJ via email info@audit.wales at the request of any local government elector for the area to which the Accounts relate, will give the elector or his representatives an opportunity to question him about the Accounts and such elector or his representative may attend before the Appointed Auditor and make objections to any of the Accounts. Any such objections must be preceded by written notice thereof and on the grounds of objection to both the Appointed Auditor, on info@audit.wales, and the County Borough Council on closingteam@npt.gov.uk
