Last chance for residents to rate living in Neath Port Talbot
31 July 2025
There are just a few days left for Neath Port Talbot residents to have their say on living in the county borough.
In June this year Neath Port Talbot Council launched Let’s Talk: Living in NPT, a survey for residents that asks for their views on council services, what the council's priorities should be, how they interact with the council and their experience of living in their local area.
So far more than 1,500 residents have had their say in the survey. Your opinion matters to this council so don't miss out on your opportunity to have your say as the survey closes on Sunday August 10th, 2025.
Anyone aged 16 or over and living in Neath Port Talbot can take part.
The quickest way to participate in the survey is online at www.npt.gov.uk/consultations
Printed questionnaires are also available at libraries in the county borough, Neath Civic Centre or Port Talbot Civic Centre.
Any residents unable to complete the survey online or collect a paper copy can email: letstalk@npt.gov.uk, text the words ‘Paper Survey’ with your name and address to 07805 771506, or phone 07805 771506 and leave your name and address after the tone.
Let’s Talk: Living in NPT is part of a national resident survey initiative developed by Data Cymru, in collaboration with the Welsh Local Government Association Improvement Programme and local councils across Wales, to enhance community engagement and improve service delivery.
Cllr Simon Knoyle, Cabinet Member for Finance, Performance and Social Justice said: “The council provides hundreds of services that touch people's daily lives so we are encouraging residents to complete our survey to they can share their thoughts with us on the services that matter most to them.”
