Annual report - progress on our wellbeing objectives
Each year, Neath Port Talbot Council publishes an Annual Report to report on the delivery of its well-being objectives, and how it is meeting the duties set out in the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015. The report allows us to hold ourselves accountable to our targets and duties.
In addition, the Local Government and Elections Act Part 6, Chapter 1, requires that a council must produce a self-assessment report for each financial year, and set out its conclusions on the extent to which it is meeting its performance requirements. We also assess how effectively we are delivering our services and meeting our strategic objectives. The self-assessment also sets out the identified areas of improvement to ensure continuous improvement.
