Welsh is more than just the language; it is part of our being, our heritage and culture and is something to be proud of and celebrated.
It is woven into the fabric of our lives – many of our place names, forenames and colloquialisms are rooted in the Welsh language.
The focus of our Dewch i Sgwrsio - Let’s Talk campaign is to increase the visibility of the Welsh language across the Neath Port Talbot area, supporting our Welsh Language Promotion Strategy’s aim of increasing Welsh language use and the number of Welsh speakers in the county borough.
On these pages you will find links to resources, events and opportunities to learn Welsh, improve your language skills, improve your confidence and use the Welsh language.
