Alongside a 3 mile golden sandy beach and contemporary promenade, you'll find:

Ocean Giant adventure playground

A new adventure playground has opened at Aberavon Beach.

The “destination” playground has been partly created out of recycled ocean waste. It features:

  • an 8.9-metre high play tower known as the ‘Ocean Giant’
  • climbing walls
  • a thrilling tube slide
  • a zip wire
  • swings
  • an overhead ladder
  • a carousel
  • other play equipment 

Parking

Summer (1st April - 30th September)

Car parking is available along the seafront. The following car parking information and charges apply:

Toilets

Venue Opening times
Aberavon seafront toilets 8.30am - 6.30pm
The toilets do not have permanent attendants. People should take responsibility for their own wellbeing by following the signs and floor markings which are in place.

Aberavon seafront is accessible to all visitors, with:

  • seating

Dogs on the beach

Dogs are not allowed on the main beach area between May - September and must be on a lead at all times. Owners may face a fine for non-compliance.

They are allowed on the main beach during off-peak months.
