Report heritage crime

Heritage crime is any unlawful activity which damages historic assets such as:

  • buildings
  • archaeological sites
  • shipwrecks
  • historic landscapes
  • monuments
  • parks
  • gardens
  • military crash sites

It can include activities such as:

  • theft
  • anti-social behaviour
  • illegal metal detecting
  • arson
  • graffiti
  • illegal off-roading
  • unauthorised work to listed buildings or scheduled monuments
  • activities taking place without the necessary consent

Report heritage crime

Phone the Police non-emergency number on 101 quoting "OpHeritageCymru".

If the crime is currently taking place phone 999 immediately.
