Eisteddfod yr Urdd is coming to Neath Port Talbot!

Eisteddfod yr Urdd, Europe’s largest touring youth festival, will be hosted at the renowned Margam Country Park this year. This prestigious event celebrates the:

  • Welsh language
  • culture of Wales
  • incredible talent of young people across Wales

Activities and events

Approximately 15,000 children and young people will be welcomed to compete in a variety of events. There will also be:

  • exciting exhibitions and activities in the GwyddonLe and the Art and Craft tent
  • performance stages with dancers, live bands and groups entertaining visitors all day, every day

The Eisteddfod Maes gives a taste of what the Urdd has to offer, with a host of artistic and sporting activities. Don’t miss the Triban Festival for those who enjoy live Welsh music – there’s enough to entertain everyone!

Margam Country Park

Margam Country Park is a popular local attraction known for its:

  • beautiful gardens
  • historic castle
  • expansive parkland

During the festival it will be transformed into a vibrant area for children and young people from all over Wales and beyond.
