Accessibility workshops
We are excited to invite you to our beginner workshops to help you learn more about creating inclusive environments in our town centres. Ensuring that our businesses are accessible to everyone is a legal requirement. But it's also a crucial aspect of providing an excellent customer experience.
Accessibility goes beyond physical modifications. It includes creating an inclusive environment for all customers, such as:
- offering services in British Sign Language (BSL) for deaf or hard of hearing customers
- implementing quiet sessions for people with autism and sensory sensitivities
Many businesses may not immediately consider these aspects under the umbrella of accessibility, but they are vital for fostering an inclusive community.
