NPT Military Heritage Display

Part of the Mayor of NPT’s Armed Forces Festival 2025 the display features information from the NPT Poignant Heroes Gallery, created by Neath Port Talbot Council’s Culture and Heritage Service, about those from the county borough, who were involved both on the battlefield and the home front in the titanic 1914-19 conflict which became known as ‘The Great War’.
The display also features information on the Roll of Honour for those who took part in the First World War from Gilbertson Works - the tinplate works that used to dominate the town of Pontardawe.
