Register to vote
To vote in the Senedd election you must be registered to vote by Monday 20 April 2026.
You can register to vote online.
You'll need your:
- address
- date of birth
- National Insurance Number
This information is required by law.
If you are not registered, you cannot vote in elections.
The register is used by credit reference agencies. If you are not registered you may find it difficult to get
- credit
- loans
- phone contracts
- a mortgage
- a bank account
