Report flooding and drainage
Cleaning and maintaining drainage assets are the responsibility of:
- NPT
- Dŵr Cymru (DCWW)
- Natural Resources Wales (NRW)
Who you need to contact will depend on what is flooding.
If the flooding is posing a danger to life or injury call the Fire Service on 999.
Roads, public drains, surface water, groundwater or ordinary watercourses
Use our report form to tell us about:
- flooding inside or outside a property
- a blocked roadside drain
- a flooded road
- a blocked culvert / brook / stream
You should also tell us if there is a situation you think may lead to flooding
Sewers, water mains or household drains
Contact Dŵr Cymru to report:
- blocked sewers
- burst water mains

Main rivers or reservoirs
Call Natural Resources Wales to report flooding caused by main rivers or reservoirs.
