Temporary signs & banners
The Council lets you put up signs on the road for community, public service, or charity events..
Before you put up signs or banners, you need to send two forms to the Engingeering Section:
- an application form
- a liability form
Bookings will be confirmed once the forms have been processed.
Put up signs or banners at the agreed time, no earlier than 2 weeks before the event. Take them down within 24 hours after the event.
After your booking is confirmed, put up banners on Monday and take them down by Sunday.
All signs must be in both English and Welsh to follow the council's rules.
Temporary signs/banners may be placed on the following sites:
Neath
- Morrisons Guardrail (opposite petrol station)
- Victoria Gardens Guardrail (outside doctors surgery)
- Neath Civic Centre Roundabout Guardrail
- Stockhams Corner Roundabout Guardrail
Port Talbot
- Princess Royal Theatre/Port Talbot Civic Centre Guardrail
- Morrisons Guardrail (opposite main entrance)
Glynneath
- Guardrail (opposite 110 High Street)
Pontardawe
- A474 Guardrail (at bus stop)
