Playgrounds

We provide play areas with facilities that cater for all ages of children. Most provide for the 3-12 age range.

The play areas vary in size and the number of play units. They are regularly inspected to meet health and safety requirements.

It’s our aim to provide challenging, fun and safe play areas that are available to all users. We recognise that play is vital for children and young people to make friends, learn about themselves and the world around them. Traditional play equipment such as swings and roundabouts are available along with areas for older children, such as Taibach Ballcourt and skateboard ramps at the Seafront.
