Who we support

We support children and young people aged 0-25 with identified Additional Learning Needs (ALN) to:

  • maximise their potential at school
  • succeed in their education

What we do

We provide various functions related to:

We support children and young people with ALN, and their families by:

  • considering requests for a Local Authority (LA) Maintained Individual Development Plan (IDP)
  • creation and maintenance of IDPs
  • considering recommendations made in Person Centred Reviews (PCRs) of IDPs
  • providing impartial ALN support, advice and guidance to pupils, parents/carers and schools
  • providing transition support for pupils with ALN at key points in their education
