Welsh Language Charter

Our Welsh Language Charter inspires children and young people to use Welsh confidently. It encourages the use of Welsh in social situations both inside and outside school. 

The Charter provides a structure for schools to follow to achieve three possible award levels:

• Bronze
• Silver
• Gold

The Charter is a community effort! Promoting a Welsh-speaking environment can involve:

• parents and carers
• family members
• friends
• teachers, governors and other school staff
