About the role:
Neath Port Talbot's Children & Young Peoples Services is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Manager to lead our childrens safeguarding team in the vibrant Port Talbot area. This role is your chance to create a positive impact on the lives of children, young people, and families in need.
As our Team Manager, you will provide professional leadership, supervision, and guidance to our talented Social Workers and Support Workers. You'll ensure that our services are delivered effectively, in line with policies and legislation, to support and protect children in need.
But that's not all! You'll also spearhead the development of our new community hub in Sandfields. This innovative resource, funded by grant monies, will serve as a central asset for community groups, activities, and opportunities. As the face of our team, you will lead on partnership working across agencies, building strong and positive relationships not only with statutory services like education and health but also with local community resources. Your leadership will help make the Sandfields hub a vibrant and accessible resource for the Port Talbot community.
