Overview
Supported employment helps you find a job quickly and gives you ongoing support to stay in work.
How it works
- Tell us you want to take part. We’ll arrange a meeting to see if supported employment is right for you.
- We'll discuss your skills and abilities, what you want to achieve and plan how to get there.
- We help you find a job that suits you.
- We agree with the employer on how they will support you.
- We provide training, coaching and regular reviews to help you succeed.
What support you’ll get
We will:
- help you decide if supported employment is right for you
- give you a plan based on your goals
- help you find vacancies that match your skills
- help you agree support with your employer
- give you ongoing support, including job coaching and training
Who can apply
You can apply if you:
- have a disability (as defined in the Equality Act 2010)
- are an offender (serving a community service) or ex-offender
- are a carer or former carer
- are homeless
- are a former member of the Armed Forces or a partner of someone who served
- have or had drug or alcohol dependency
- are a care experienced young person or care leaver
- are a refugee or resettled Afghan
- are on the Ukrainian scheme
- are a victim or survivor of domestic abuse
- are a young person at risk of serious violence
- are a victim of modern slavery
