Have your say about living in Neath Port Talbot

24 June 2025

Neath Port Talbot Council is inviting residents to have their say on living in the county borough.

Have your say about living in Neath Port Talbot

The council has launched Let’s Talk: Living in NPT, a survey for residents that asks for their views on council services, what the council's priorities should be, how they interact with the council and their experience of living in their local area.

Cllr Simon Knoyle, Cabinet Member for Finance, Performance and Social Justice said: “The council provides hundreds of services that touch people's daily lives. We are encouraging residents to complete our survey to share your thoughts on the services that matter most to you.

“Participating in the survey will take around 10 minutes and your feedback will help us gauge how well our services are meeting   needs and expectations and will be considered in future service planning and delivery.”

The survey is open until Sunday, August 10th 2025. Anyone aged 16 or over and living in Neath Port Talbot can take part.

The quickest way to participate in the survey is online at www.npt.gov.uk/consultations

Printed questionnaires will also be available at libraries in the county borough, Neath Civic Centres or Port Talbot Civic Centre.

Any residents unable to complete the survey online or collect a paper copy can email: letstalk@npt.gov.uk, text the words ‘Paper Survey’ with your name and address to 07805 771506, or phone 07805 771506 and leave your name and address after the tone.

Let’s Talk: Living in NPT is part of a national resident survey initiative developed by Data Cymru, in collaboration with the Welsh Local Government Association Improvement Programme and local councils across Wales, to enhance community engagement and improve service delivery.
