Admissions Forum

By law, every council in Wales must have an Admission Forum.

The NPT Admission Forum helps ensure that we have an admissions system that is:

• fair
• straightforward
• easy for parents/carers to understand

The forum:

• discusses the effectiveness of local admission arrangements
• considers how to deal with difficult admission issues
• may advise us on ways we can improve admission arrangements

It also monitors our compliance with the Welsh Government's school admissions code 2013.

The forum must meet at least twice a year.
