I am a lady living in the Skewen area of Neath, I live with my two small dogs who I also like to walk twice a day. I enjoy going out shopping, and I also like to meet up with friends.
I am a wheelchair user, and I like to have a small team of PAs that assist me with my daily living.

I am a 22 year old male who enjoys spending time outdoors and would like support to broaden my horizons, increase social opportunities, and meet like-minded people whilst participating in meaningful activities within the local community. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive difference by supporting myself to increase confidence, maintain an active lifestyle, develop independence, access local community, and continue building meaningful social connections.
I particularly enjoy:
Playing golf and visiting the driving range.
Walking in local country parks and outdoor spaces.
Attending woodland and forest-based workshops.
Exploring outdoor activities and community events.
Practical and hands-on activities.

DPSS727 - Personal Assistant - Gwaun Cae Gurwen - 6 hours per week
I am a 42 year old gentleman living in the Gwaun Cae Gurwen area of Neath Port Talbot. I suffer from multiple health conditions and difficulties that impact my life daily. Many things I used to enjoy doing I am no longer able to, due to my health limitations, but they are gardening, fishing, drawing/painting and playing the guitar or other stringed instruments.

I also enjoy watching TV programmes or read to further my knowledge.
I am looking for a PA to help me access the community and to do things that I enjoy. My PA will also need to support and prompt/motivate me as sometimes this can be difficult for me to do myself. My PA will also need to support me to attend medical and dental appointments where necessary.

DPSS617 - Personal Assistant - 4 hours per week school term/ 8 hours per week in school holidays - Seven Sisters
I am a 9 year old girl with a friendly nature, I live within the upper valley area of seven sisters. I have autism and I am unable to communicate verbally, I use descriptive communication, and I can become louder when exited. I can at times hit out when I become frustrated. I love swimming and going to wiggleys farm and attending the trampoline park and soft play. Car driver is essential.
4 hours per week school term/ 8 hours per week in holiday term. Flexible with times and days however looking to recruit for a Saturday 12:30 to 4.30 with more hours available possible for Wednesday and possible looking at sleep ins . And also to discuss school holidays.

DPSS715 - Personal Assistant - 6 hours - Cimla
I am a 21 year old man living in the Cimla area with my family. I have Autism and Epilepsy, and I experience seizures daily.
I am a very quiet and gentle young man, and I need a PA to encourage me to go out, help me access the community and bring me out of my shell. I enjoy going out to the cinema, walking and bowling. At home I like to play my Xbox, watch films, YouTube & Tik Tok videos.
I can be very anxious and require supervision at all times when we are out, as I have no road safety or danger awareness.
6 hours per week to be worked as 3 hours on a Monday and Wednesday. Times are flexible.

DPSS691 - Personal Assistant - 3 hours per week - Neath
I am a happy, friendly energetic 14 year old boy living within the Neath area. I have ASD/ADHD. My diagnosis can at times cause depression and anxiety. I have an interest with Birds and love bird documentaries, I enjoy learning anything about birds. I enjoy football and having a 1:1 kick about in cwrtherbert. I enjoy bowling and going to walk around the Gnoll park and ponds.
I require a Personal Assistant to support me for 3 hours per week, on a Saturday or Sunday. I am flexible with days and times. I need a personal assistant to support me within the community to further develop my socialisation skills. It would be advantageous for the personal assistant to have experience of supporting a young person with learning difficulties and ASD/ADHA.

DPSS735 - Personal Assistant x2 - 3-6 hours per week (usually weekends) - Banwen
I am an 8 year old boy living in the Banwen area of Neath Port Talbot. I am autistic, have learning disabilities and communicate mainly through my actions, expressions and some signs. I am a lively, affectionate boy who enjoys being active and spending time out in the community. I especially love trampolining, swimming, soft play, playgrounds and parks. I enjoy going down slides, although I may need help with steps, and I like playing with playdough and kinetic sand. I also enjoy trips to the LC2, Brecon, shops and other fun places. At home I like playing games on my tablet in my bedroom away from my siblings when they are being loud. I love hugs and being tickled when I am comfortable, and I am very fond of chocolate, sweets and crisps. I need patient adults who will take time to get to know how I communicate, support me to make choices and help me enjoy activities safely.
3-6 hours per week, usually at weekends with more available in the school holidays (two PAs required to work together), 6 hour shift per month – respite at home

DPSS550 - Personal Assistant - 3 hours per week - Clyne
I am in a gentleman in my 50s living in the Clyne area of Neath. I grew up in England but moved to Neath to be closer to my family. I really enjoy living in the area and I am keen to find out more about Wales. I have recently moved into my own place after living with family initially when I moved to the area and I am looking for a personal assistant to support me to develop good routines within my new home. I have a keen interest in politics and this is often a conversational piece for me. I enjoy watching sports such as football and rugby on the television.
CAR DRIVER RECOMMENDED DUE TO THE LOCATION
3 hours per week to be worked as 1 hour blocks.

DPSS668 - LONG TERM COVER Personal Assistant - 12 hours per week - Sandfields
I am an 85 year old gentleman living in the Sandfields area with my wife and cat. I used to enjoy playing golf and I currently attend a walking football group. I enjoy watching golf, darts and football on the TV.
I am looking for a cover PA to support me to access the groups that I attend.
I am a laid back gentleman, and I take my time when processing information and replying in conversation. The PA would need to be patient and understanding of this.
I have Parkinsons, Dementia, COPD and can suffer with depression and anxiety. My conditions mean I have reduced mobility and coordination, and I am at risk of falls. I use a wheelchair as both a walking aid and to sit in when I get tired, so my PA would need to push my wheelchair when this happens. The PA would either be able to use their own car, or drive my mobility car which is an automatic. The PA will need to prompt me with time sensitive medication.
Long term cover - 9-12 months expected.
12 hours per week to be worked as:
Monday – 4 hours each day (although once a month, this will change to a Tuesday) – times flexible, to be discussed during interview.Wednesday – 4 hours each day – times flexible, to be discussed during interview.
Friday – 4 hours each day – times flexible, to be discussed during interview.

DPSS721 - Personal Assistant - 10 hours per week - Glynneath
I am a 47 year old gentleman living in the Upper Neath Valley area. I enjoy watching football on TV and I used to watch Swansea City home games when I was able to get out of my house without support. I would in time like to do this again, but this is not my number one priority now. What I really need, is someone to help me to access the community and use buses where needed. I am unable to use a car at the moment due to requiring wrist surgery, therefore it would be unsafe for me to attempt to get out of my wheelchair and into a car until this has healed. Due to my condition, I am unable to self-propel and I would need my PA to push me in my wheelchair.
10 hours per week, to be completed over 2 weekdays.
These weekdays can be flexible, and can be discussed during interview.
