Food and drink hospitality rates relief
Overview
The relief is being offered from 1 April 2026 and will be available until 31 March 2027.
You could qualify for food and drink hospitality rates relief if your business property is being used as a:
- pub
- restaurant
- café
- bar
- live music venue
The scheme aims to support these sectors to manage continued cost pressures.
What you'll get
If you’re eligible, you could get 15% off your business rates bills.
The most you can get in relief each billing year is £110,000 for all properties occupied by the same business across Wales.
