Horizons NPT
Horizons supports people aged 16 to 24 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
It also helps people aged 16 and over who may be at risk of becoming NEET when leaving school.
Support is tailored to individual needs and helps people take the next step into:
- education
- training
- work
Workways NPT
Workways supports people aged 16 and over who are:
- unemployed
- out of work
- at risk of long-term unemployment
Work experience and volunteering
- paid work opportunities
- work experience placements
- volunteering opportunities
These opportunities can help people:
- gain practical experience
- build confidence
- develop skills valued by employers
- improve their chances of finding work
Training and career support
Workways also provides training linked to local job opportunities.
The service can help people:
- gain new skills
- achieve qualifications
- return to work
- progress in their current role
Support is also available for people who are already in work, including those in:
- low-paid jobs
- part-time work
- insecure employment
The service can help people develop their skills and progress in their careers.
