Project features
Hyppo Hydrogen
Funding helped turn an empty unit at Bay Studios into a new Hydrogen Innovation Hub. The work included repairs, electrical upgrades and better access for users. The hub could support up to 17 businesses and 120 jobs.
Biodiversity projects
Projects at Gwaun Cae Gurwen and Cymmer Fire Stations created new green areas. The work included hedgerow planting, green roofs and wildlife-friendly cycle shelters. These improvements support local wildlife and community wellbeing.
Solar Centric
Solar Centric redeveloped an empty building at Crymlyn Burrows. The building is now a modern, energy-efficient workspace for three local businesses. Improvements include LED lighting, double glazing and better insulation.
Baglan Boys and Girls Club
The club installed new LED floodlights at Evans Bevan Playing Fields. Players can now train and play matches on darker evenings. The project helps more people take part in sport throughout the year.
