Overview

Join the 12 Book Challenge and receive rewards along the way! Borrow books from the library and complete the challenges to receive your rewards.

Visit one of our libraries and sign up to receive your challenge card. The challenge starts as soon as you sign up.
Borrow and read a book that matches one of the challenges on the challenge card. You can read the books in any order.
Return to the library with your membership and challenge cards to collect a stamp.
Receive rewards when you have read 6 and 12 books.

This promotion is not available with our ebook service, Borrowbox.

All books must be borrowed from a Neath Port Talbot Council run library. This incentive is only available in these libraries:

The challenge ends on July 31st 2026. No rewards will be given out after this date.

All rewards are subject to availability and must be used within 12 months of the voucher issue date.

A voucher for a hot drink from Gnoll Country Park or Margam Country Park.

A voucher for a cinema ticket for Pontardawe Arts Centre.
