Welsh language impact

It is anticipated that the proposals will have no impact on the Welsh language. 

Opportunities for staff to use their language skills will continue to be promoted and training will continue to be made available.

The Council is committed to the principles as embodied in the Welsh Language Measure (2015) and the standards in particular will continue so that the Welsh language is treated no less favourably than the English language.

The Welsh language Impact Assessment will be reviewed following the consultation.
