Cycle groups
Joining a local cycle club is a great way to get advice on cycling, keep fit and make friends.
Some local cycle clubs you may wish to consider joining are:
- Swansea Wheelrights - for beginners
- The Port Talbot Wheelers - open races and time trials
- The Swansea Cycle Group - members cycling club
Buying and maintaining a bike
There are plenty of cycling and repair shops in Neath Port Talbot to buy or maintain a bike.
Check if your employer takes part of the Cycle2Work Scheme. You could get discounts on bikes and accessories.
Cycle training
Our Road Safety Team offer the following National Standard for Cycle training:
- level 1 - 8 years and above
- level 2 - 10 years and above
- level 3 - teenagers and adults
Training is also available for toddlers and beginners.
Bicycle storage
