New Employment & Skills Fund to support Tata Steel UK and supply chain workers in Wales

Workers in Wales who have been made redundant from Tata Steel UK or a business within the company’s supply chain and other associated contractors can now access dedicated funding to help them re-skill and regain employment.

Cabinet recommended to reject use of vacant building as homelessness Triage Centre

As part of the Council’s work to look at potential future uses of the vacant Cross Community Centre building in Pontardawe a report will be presented to Neath Port Talbot Council’s Cabinet at its meeting on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 which will recommend ruling out consideration of the building as a Triage Centre or for temporary accommodation.
