Lifelines and sensors
Overview
Technology Enabled Care (TEC) can help you stay safer and independent at home. It can keep you connected to your loved ones, and enables you to quickly call for help in an emergency.
The service includes:
- expert support and advice
- provision, installation and maintenance of TEC equipment
- updates or adjustments to equipment as needed
Lifeline
A Lifeline is a personal emergency alarm system. It's made up of a:
- base unit
- button or pendant that you wear on your clothes or around your neck
Sensors
We can also provide sensors that can alert our monitoring centre to problems like:
- smoke
- fire
- gas
- a slip, trip or fall
